Research | The 1861 and 1871 census entries are a good fit for what we know about Robert except that he was in Portland Prison in 1861. For the moment we are running with his wife adding him to the 1861 census but we could be wrong.
Interestingly she is noted as "Enciente" in his Portland Prison Register entry which we are taking to mean "pregnant to someone else"!11 |
