There are seven correspondence registers on Ancesty.com from Consignment 1156.

These registers are different because they contain summaries of streams of correspondce by Subject No. (CSRN). Many of the subject descriptions are in fact convicts. Registers C48 to C50 were done by the Buchanans and reference anywhere where a convict was mentioned. Just download the index and search it to find the CSRN numbers that interest you. The indexes showing up on a convicts page are to alert you that your convict has an enry in the file. The C50 convict index is wip.

Registers C53 & F1 have had indexes created by our team. Where the CSRN refers to a convict a "Letter Reg" event has been added to that convicts page and you can find the link to the page on Ancestry in the citations section. Seperate downloadable index files have been created for when convicts are mentioned in non-convict subjects. In these cases (F1S & C53S) you will need to download the file(s) and find you convict(s) to know where to look within each register.

Registers C51 & C52 have not yet been indexed. When they are there will just be one downloadable combined index for each register.
