The correspondence registers are sequenced by "Correspondence Register Subject Numbers" (CRSN). Many of the subjects are convicts and convicts are also recorded in the subjects which aren't convicts e.g. 14681 Convict Deaths which starts at frame 52. To simplfy things we have added two indexes:-
- F1 Convict Subject Index which alerts you to the fact that your person of interest has a least one entry in the F1 Subject Index which you can download and then look up the CRSN's and corresponding frame no's that are of interest to you. These entries are in Subjects that are not convicts.
- F1 Convict Index is more to alert you to the fact that your man has a "Letter_Reg" event on his page with a corresponding link to the relevant page on Ancestry.com in the Citations section
